The Log of the Asiatic Fleet. In the early 1900's America maintained a fleet of river boats on the Yangtzee and in China coastal ports. The movie "Sand Pebbles" with Steve McQueen is a classic portrayal. The entire fleet was known as the Asiatic Fleet. Veterans of the later time maintain an association served by a newsletter and by this log. A Facebook group and other links below assist with communications.

Note for Reunion (1) Be sure and wear your uniform for the Memorial Services (if they still fit). We will be televised and covered by the newspaper.
(2) Don’t order your hotel reservations through the internet, those reservations do not count for filling our quota.
(3) Please make your hotel reservation early. We hope to be assured of reaching the contracted room block of 35 rooms by December 1st. Don’t worry about making early reservations as you can cancel anytime up to 6pm on the date of the reunion.
