Wednesday, May 3, 2006
0630 -0930 daily Complimentary breakfast in Lounge. Full breakfast available.
0800 -2200 .Hospitality room opens daily except for tours,etc.
Registration . Acey Deucy begins.
1000 Board meeting in Secretary Kiplinger’s room.
1200-1600 Arrival lunch in Hospitality Room. (Courtesy Merchants Association)
1800 Dinner on your own daily except Saturday’s banquet. Thursday, May 4, 2006
0830-1530 Visit the Cherokee Museum and Harrah’s Cherokee
Casino. Lunch included. You must be 21 or
over to visit the casino and have a valid photo ID..
2200 Live music in Decades Bar & Grill Thursday and Friday
FRIDAY, May 5, 2006
0830-1530 Historic Trolley trip to Biltmore Estate, gardens and
winery. Includes lunch at Deer Park Inn.
1600-1800 Meeting room for SCYPAF meeting
1800 Dinner on your own in hotel or surrounding restaurants.
Saturday, May 6, 2006
0800-1000 Meeting room opens for USNAF meeting
1000 All hands business in meeting room.
1200 Lunch on your own in surrounding restaurants.
1300 Load bus for trip to City Hall for Memorial Services
1330 Memorial Services. Plan to be published in December
newsletter.
1500 -1700 City tour (The bus will stop briefly at the Hotel if some
don’t want the tour) The Grove Park Inn will be part of tour..
1800 Dress for Photo session. Men and ladies separate photo.
1900 Banquet. Program to be published in December newsletter

PLAN OF EVENTS

 General information and/or program changes will be with the reunion information envelope
 Acey Duecy games begin ASAP in Hospitality space
 0630-1100 Cloud's Restaurant in Hotel Atrium Lower Level, serves breakfast Continental breakfast, $7.95+; full breakfast buffet, $9.95+ (You will receive a $2 discount with reunion ID), or menu selections at price.
 1500-2230 Hospitality space will be open daily with limited closings for tours and events.
 1100-0100 lunch & dinner is available at T.G.I. Friday's, lower Level of Hotel, right off Atrium.
 Tour prices, based on a minimum of 30 people per coach, include transportation, professional guide, admissions, gratuities, City tour lunch on Thursday.
 We plan to maximize group togetherness and keep needed walking to a minimum. Special needs transportation can be provided. Include your special needs and/or dietary constraints in the comments section of the reunion registration.
Wednesday, 2nd
1200-2200 Welcome & hellos in the hospitality area (Board meeting time & place to be determined)
1530-1730 Reception Hors D’ Oeuvres

Thursday, 3rd
0900-1530 Board coach at 0845 for Discover St. Louis a narrated tour of historic and modern St. Louis, stops at Laclede’s Landing (a nine block historic area), the Gateway Arch and Museum of Westward Expansion (choose a ticket for either the Gateway Arch tram or the movie), Lunch at Zia’s Italian restaurant, and visit Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. (We will visit the History Museum if the Cathedral is not available due to a service or function.)
1800 Board Coach for the Dixieland Dinner Cruise aboard a replica paddlewheeler with Dixieland
music. A complete sit-down dinner is included. (Dinner entrees must be pre-selected).
Walking down and up steps is required to the Riverboat located on the St. Louis Riverfront.

Friday, 4th
0900-1400 Board coach at 0845 for memorial service at the Veterans Memorial. The tour will go
to St. Charles where participants may elect to stay in the historic area or be taken to the
Ameristar Casino – early return to the hotel can be arranged. Lunch is on your own.
1345 Pickup place and time for return to the hotel from the St. Charles visitors Center (historic area) and the casino will be determined at the time of drop-off.
Evening “As you like” and dinner on your own

Saturday, 5th
0930-1330 Board coach at 0915 to Grant’s Farm for a tram ride through Deer Park, stroll through the
Tier Garten, Lunch on your own at the Bauernhof along with complimentary samples of
Anheuser Busch products (free beer), and visit Clydesdale Stables.
Daytime As you like, on your own
1800-1900 Greetings and photo ops before the banquet
1900-2200 Farewell Banquet, dress: optional

Sunday, 6th Goodbyes and departures for all but the Late Birds. Farewell until we meet again, have a safe trip home. Late birds embark on activities and tours
